COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (June 18, 2012) – White Water Rapid Wash and iTopIt will host a fundraiser for Kelsey Campbell, US Women’s Olympic Freestyle Wrestler. The fundraiser will be held this Saturday, June 23rd, from 10am-3pm at the White Water Rapid Wash on Powers Blvd. (4389 Integrity Center Point – Northwest corner of Barnes and Powers) with the money raised going to help pay for Kelsey’s family to join her in London for the 2012 Olympic Games. Kelsey and other members of the Olympic Women’s Freestyle Wrestling Team will be on hand to sign autographs, offer other fundraising items and visit with fans and supporters.

White Water Rapid Wash will donate half of the car wash sales during the fundraiser to Kelsey and her family. Customers who purchase The Works wash package will also receive two free cup coupons from iTopIt. This fundraiser will allow customers to purchase a quality car wash at a great price, while also supporting the US Olympic Team.

“The families of our Olympic athletes dedicate and sacrifice a tremendous amount of time and resources to see their child realize their Olympic dream. Not all families have the resources to see their child participate in the Olympic Games and the athlete must help them raise the funds necessary to make the trip. We wanted to be a part of Kelsey’s Olympic journey by helping her raise funds for her family’s trip,” said David Begin, Managing Partner of White Water Rapid Wash.

Kelsey Campbell is a member of the Women’s Olympic Freestyle Wrestling team, representing the USA in this summer’s Olympic Games in London, England. She competes in the 55 kilogram weight class, and was a member of the wrestling team at Arizona State University. Kelsey recently edged fellow Olympian Helen Maroulis to win the women's 121-pound division at the U.S. Olympic Trials, earning her a spot on the US Olympic team. She will continue her training as a resident athlete at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Kelsey is raising money for her family to travel to London with her to watch her compete in the Olympics.
